Flower Power

Aren't these pretty? Flowers add such a nice touch to the wedding - but who knew they were so expensive? Bouquets can cost hundreds of dollars... And I don't really understand why. I mean, it's not like you'll be able to keep it for years to come (unless you dry them. But even then, it's not the same). And then, don't forget the bridesmaid bouquets, the boutonnieres for the groom and his groomsmen, the centrepieces for the tables at the reception, and any other decorations involving flowers. It makes me want to grow my own flowers and become an expert flower arranger!!! :P
Picture from "The Knot" - I love gerbera daisies.
Aren't these lovely? They're called stephanotis flowers. I heart them! They're so sweet. And guess what they mean! "Marital happiness!" Isn't that perfect for a wedding? I think when I get married some stephanotis flowers are going to be in my bouquet, next to the gerbera daisies!

  2. Isn't it gorgeous? That's actually the photo that started this whole post. I LOVE the idea of having balls of flowers hanging like that. It just adds such a nice touch.
